New Video Post: "The Benefits of Multisensor Security Cameras"

DSC video shoot with actor Albert Castillo

In this video, Albert shares one of our favorite practical video surveillance solutions with you – leveraging the innovative power of multi-sensor cameras to view and record video that doesn’t miss a thing, while simultaneously reducing your project cost.

Multi-sensor cameras, sometimes referred to as “multi-lens cameras” or “multi-imager cameras”, utilize an array of 3 to 4 camera heads that can be independently positioned to capture complete panoramic video coverage of 180, 270, and 360 degree scenes.  These cameras are often times mounted on architectural corners, the center of rooms, or the convergent points of hallways to provide complete video coverage.  Multi-sensor cameras come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from a variety of security manufacturers.  Depending on the multi-sensor model, each independent camera head could have an available resolution from 2MP, all the way up to 8MP, the equivalent of Ultra High Definition 4K.
